Mr Whitfield served his country within the body of reservists from the army of the United States occupying the position of first lieutenant in the Division No. 100. During eight periods in which has served as a Congressman he dealt with issues in favour of the family, specifically in the authorization to allow prayer in schools, put an end to child pornography and ban the burning of flags. Congressman Brian Bilbray (California Republicano-Estado party) was elected to represent District No. 50 of the Congress of California. He currently is a member of the Committee of vigilance and reform Government of the House of representatives of the Commission on matters relating to veterans of war and of the Commission on Science and technology. Congressman Bilbray is also a member of the Committee of Republican policies of the Chamber of representatives and President of the motor mounts on immigration reform. The first Congressman Bilbray in the Congress period started in 1994, time in which participated crucially to provide support to the community responsible for public safety, having given its support for those laws intended to protect to members of the police and the victims of ordinary crimes.After leaving Congress in 2001, Congressman Bilbray served co-Chair of the National Board of advisors of the Federation for immigration reform in the United States (FAIR in its acronym in English).
