Josep Maria Cabayol began his apprenticeship with painter Salvador Massana, Joaquim Mir disciple, continuing his studies at the school of Arts and crafts of Mallorca. Since 1966, it has made about 80 solo exhibitions and more than 150 collective. The themes of their works are especially dedicated to Mediterranean architecture, with whitewashed houses, where color and delineation play a leading role and to still lifes, where you can see the palette Spanish has represented his work in important private collections in the world. In recent years, has deepened in the performance of their works, based on more drawing, an observation more accurate, retailer of the structures and the shades of colour, in order to seek more realism. Since 1966 is a founding member of Cercle Artistic Vilanova some of his individual exhibitions.
